Google Map API Key TutorialDay 1 - Palermo to Cefalù 35nm
Embark in Palermo and cruise east along Sicily’s northern coastline towards Cefalù, one of the island’s most picturesque seaside towns. Arrive in time for a late lunch or afternoon swim just offshore, with the old town and its cathedral rising behind you.
Spend the afternoon wandering through narrow streets, browsing small boutiques, or relaxing back onboard as the yacht sits at anchor just outside the harbour.
Recommendation: Lunch at a seafront trattoria in Cefalù or a relaxed dinner in the old town overlooking the water.
Day 2 - Cefalù to Aeolian Islands (Vulcano) 45nm
Cruise north towards the Aeolian Islands – a UNESCO-listed volcanic archipelago and one of the highlights of any Sicily yacht charter itinerary. Arrive at Vulcano, known for its dramatic landscapes, black sand beaches, and natural hot springs.
Spend the afternoon swimming off the yacht or exploring the island’s unique terrain before settling in for a relaxed evening onboard.
Recommendation: Dinner onboard or a casual beachfront spot on Vulcano.
Day 3 - Vulcano to Panarea 12nm
Cruise to Panarea, the most exclusive of the Aeolian Islands, known for its low-key luxury, whitewashed buildings, and chic atmosphere. Anchor just offshore and spend the day enjoying the yacht, swimming in impossibly clear water, or heading ashore for a long, leisurely lunch.
As evening arrives, Panarea comes to life with a subtle but stylish energy.
Recommendation: Lunch at Raya Beach Club or dinner at Hotel Raya.
Day 4 - Panarea to Stromboli 15nm
Cruise to Stromboli, one of the most active volcanoes in the world. Spend the day swimming and relaxing before preparing for one of the most memorable moments of the trip – watching the volcano erupt at sunset from the water.
Your captain will position the yacht for the best possible view as the sky darkens and Stromboli’s eruptions light up the horizon.
Recommendation: Sunset drinks onboard – this is all about the experience rather than going ashore.
Day 5 - Stromboli to Salina 20nm
Cruise to Salina, a greener and more laid-back island known for its vineyards and slower pace. This is a great day to balance the more dramatic landscapes with something calmer and more local.
Head ashore to explore or enjoy a long lunch overlooking the sea before returning to the yacht for a relaxed afternoon.
Recommendation: Lunch at Da Alfredo (famous for granita and local dishes) or a vineyard restaurant.
Day 6 - Salina to Taormina 45nm
Cruise back towards mainland Sicily, arriving at Taormina – one of the island’s most iconic destinations. Anchor below the town and spend the afternoon swimming in Isola Bella’s crystal-clear water before heading up to Taormina itself.
The town offers a mix of history, boutique shopping, and incredible views over Mount Etna.
Recommendation: Dinner at Belmond Grand Hotel Timeo or a terrace restaurant overlooking the coastline.
Day 7 - Taormina 0nm
Your final full day is spent around Taormina, giving you time to properly enjoy the area without needing to move. Spend the morning swimming or using water toys before heading ashore for lunch, or remain onboard for a long, relaxed day on deck.
For those wanting something different, a private excursion to Mount Etna can also be arranged.
Recommendation: Lunch at a beach club below Taormina or a full onboard lunch prepared by your chef.
Day 8 - Taormina to Catania 30nm (Disembarkation)
A final morning onboard cruising south towards Catania, with breakfast on deck and time to soak up the last views of Sicily’s coastline. Arrive late morning for disembarkation.
