Google Map API Key TutorialDay 1 - Olbia to Porto Cervo 15nm
Embark in Olbia and cruise along the Costa Smeralda, known for its emerald waters and polished beach clubs. Arrive into Porto Cervo in time for lunch or an afternoon swim just outside the marina before heading ashore.
Spend the evening exploring the village or enjoying your first dinner onshore – this is the social heart of the region, especially in peak summer.
Recommendation: Lunch at Phi Beach or dinner at Zuma Porto Cervo.
Day 2 - Porto Cervo to La Maddalena Archipelago 12nm
Cruise into the La Maddalena National Park, where the scenery shifts to untouched islands, turquoise water, and protected anchorages. Spend the day hopping between islands, swimming, and enjoying water toys in some of the clearest water in the Med.
This is a full “on the water” day – slow, relaxed, and exactly what yachting here is about.
Recommendation: Lunch onboard or a simple beachside spot on La Maddalena island.
Day 3 - La Maddalena to Bonifacio (Corsica) 15nm
Cruise north across the Strait of Bonifacio to Corsica, arriving into one of the most dramatic harbours in the Mediterranean. The entrance into Bonifacio – a fjord-like inlet surrounded by limestone cliffs – is a highlight in itself.
Spend the afternoon exploring the old town perched above the harbour or enjoy a relaxed evening onboard.
Recommendation: Dinner at a harbour front restaurant in Bonifacio or a more elevated spot in the old town.
Day 4 - Bonifacio to Lavezzi Islands then Santa Teresa Gallura 18nm
Depart Bonifacio and cruise via the Lavezzi Islands – a protected group of islands with granite rock formations and incredibly clear water. Stop for a long swim and lunch at anchor before continuing back towards Sardinia.
Arrive into Santa Teresa Gallura in the late afternoon, a charming and more low-key town compared to Porto Cervo.
Recommendation: Lunch onboard at anchor; casual dinner in Santa Teresa.
Day 5 - Santa Teresa to Cala di Volpe / Romazzino 20nm
Cruise back along the Costa Smeralda, stopping at beautiful anchorages like Romazzino or Capriccioli along the way. These bays are known for their soft sand, shallow turquoise water, and ideal swimming conditions.
Arrive into Cala di Volpe in time for sunset – one of the most iconic settings on the coast.
Recommendation: Lunch onboard in a quiet bay; dinner at Hotel Cala di Volpe.
Day 6 - Cala di Volpe to Tavolara Island 18nm
Cruise south towards Tavolara, a striking limestone island rising straight out of the sea. Anchor off the island and spend the day swimming, paddleboarding, or heading ashore for a very relaxed, local experience.
This is a quieter, more natural side of Sardinia – a nice contrast to the Costa Smeralda.
Recommendation: Lunch at Da Tonino Re di Tavolara (simple, local, and right on the beach).
Day 7 - Tavolara to Caprera / La Maddalena 25nm
Cruise back north for your final full day, stopping around Caprera or the quieter corners of the La Maddalena islands. This day is all about enjoying the yacht – finding a perfect anchorage, spending time in the water, and having a long, relaxed lunch onboard.
With no need to rush, it’s the perfect final day to soak up the scenery and enjoy the last of Sardinia’s crystal-clear waters.
Recommendation: Full lunch onboard prepared by your chef or a relaxed beach stop if preferred.
Day 8 - La Maddadlena to Olbia (Disembarkation) 20nm
A gentle cruise back towards Olbia with breakfast on deck and time for one last swim if conditions allow. Arrive late morning for disembarkation.
