Day 1 - English Harbour to Green Island 10nm

Embark in the historic English Harbour and sail east along Antigua’s southern coastline to Green Island, one of the island’s most pristine and untouched anchorages. It’s a gentle first afternoon – arrive, drop anchor, and settle into the warm Caribbean atmosphere.

Spend the afternoon snorkelling the crystal-clear waters or exploring the deserted beaches before easing into your first evening aboard.

Recommendation: Sundowners on deck with views across the reef – Green Island is beautifully remote, so come well stocked.

Day 2 - Green Island to Great Bird Island 8nm

Set sail north to Great Bird Island, the jewel of Antigua’s northeast coast and one of the most stunning anchorages in the Caribbean. The turquoise shallows and white sand beaches make this a perfect full day stop.

Spend the day swimming, paddleboarding, or hiking the small island’s trail for panoramic views across the Atlantic.

Recommendation: Snorkel the surrounding reefs – marine life here is exceptional.

Day 3 - Great Bird Island to Deep Bay / St John's 10nm

Head west along the northern coast towards Deep Bay, framed by the ruins of Fort Barrington and home to a fascinating sunken shipwreck just below the surface. St John’s, Antigua’s vibrant capital, is within easy reach for those who want to explore ashore.

Browse the local markets, visit Heritage Quay, or simply enjoy lunch at one of the harbourside restaurants before returning to the boat.

Recommendation: Dive or snorkel the wreck of the Andes – a truly memorable experience in just 10 metres of water.

Day 4 - Deep Bay to Barbuda Coco Point 30nm

An exhilarating offshore passage north to the sister island of Barbuda, one of the most exclusive and unspoiled destinations in the Caribbean. Drop anchor off the legendary Coco Point, where powdery pink-sand beaches stretch as far as the eye can see.

Barbuda is gloriously quiet and unhurried – the perfect contrast to Antigua’s busier anchorages.

Recommendation: Walk the beach at golden hour – Coco Point is widely considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

Day 5 - Coco Point to Low Bay 8nm

A short sail along Barbuda’s stunning western coastline brings you to Low Bay, home to one of the Caribbean’s largest frigatebird colonies. Thousands of magnificent frigatebirds nest here – a truly extraordinary wildlife spectacle.

Take the dinghy ashore and arrange a guided lagoon tour to get up close to the colony.

Recommendation: Visit the frigatebird sanctuary early morning for the best experience before heading back to the boat for a lazy afternoon at anchor.

Day 6 - Low Bay to Jolly Harbour (Antigua)

Return south to Antigua and make for Jolly Harbour on the island’s southwest coast – a well-equipped and sociable marina perfect for an evening ashore. Stock up on provisions, enjoy a meal at one of the waterfront restaurants, and recharge for the final days ahead.

Recommendation: Sheer Rocks restaurant nearby is well worth a visit for sundowners overlooking the ocean.

Day 7 - Jolly Harbour to Carlisle Bay / Rendezvous Bay 10nm

A beautiful day’s sail along Antigua’s rugged southwestern coast to Carlisle Bay and the neighbouring Rendezvous Bay – two of the island’s most secluded and scenic anchorages. Accessible only by sea, Rendezvous Bay feels like a private discovery.

Spend your penultimate evening in total peace, swimming off the boat and dining under the stars.

Recommendation: This is one of Antigua’s best-kept secrets – savour it.

Day 8 - Carlisle Bay to English Harbour

A short and scenic final sail brings you back to the iconic English Harbour to disembark. Take a morning stroll through Nelson’s Dockyard – a UNESCO World Heritage Site – before departing with memories to last a lifetime.

Recommendation: Breakfast at Boom Bar overlooking the harbour is the perfect way to end the voyage.
